I found this web site, some may already be familiar.
They have really nice content and the Gyropedia section is full of info for student pilots as well.

Be a little careful of European Gyroplane sites. They have some different ideas about techniques and don't seem to be afraid to publish new and untested (or at least unseasoned) methods as, "The New Right Way," some of which may not comply with the US FAA PTS for gyroplanes.
Still..never hurts to look around. All good ideas have to start somewhere.
But, overall the info on the site was very good.
I'll leave it up to individuals to apply any info from it...
