Bensen B8-M gyro for sale , 72 hp McCullough engine with electric start ( thats right - no hand proping to start) , Dragon Wings Rotors , Reconditioned Tennessee Prop. This is a flying gyro not a project !
Everyone in the club knows Lewis Gulley ! At the young age of 81 , Lewis has decided its time to hang up his rotors . He is offering his gyro for sale at a very reasonable price to give someone else the opportunity to enjoy it as much as he has. I think he has been flying this gyro since 1984 . It is in ready to fly condition having been flown as recently as the past few weeks . This price also includes many extras that go with it . Somebody can fly really cheap !

Lewis's Gyro is SOLD !!!!
Hay Gary, it looks like you have become a new gyro broker in your retirement. LOL.
The last original Bensen/MAC left the hangar yesterday. We still have some of the frames around with VW and Rotax engines, but it's just not the same, is it.
is the same anymore John.
I wonder if this is how my grand parent's felt as they aged out too?
I asked my 102 yr. old grandma about this and she had no good answer.
Just read this thread. Wow.. sorry to hear Lewis is no longer flying. His wealth of knowledge is so helpful around the hanger, I sure hope he is around to share with the next generation of gyro nuts. Congrats on a quick sale. That is a well maintained aircraft for sure.
