I really don't care for the facebook type platform, so maybe someone here might have a suggestion .
I am still having an issue with the #2 pressure sensor..I.E. sensor #1 is cyls 1/2/3, sensor #2 is cyl 1.
I am getting a code "25" I swapped sensors and even got a spare for trouble shooting.
When swap sensors the code does not follow the sensor, I have done a voltage check, 4.85 volts to sensor #1 as per manual, sensor #2 no voltage, so code 25 means either an open or a short in the sensor circuit.
Has anyone else had any issues such as this? Just trying to save time before I unwrap the entire wire harness down to the ECU to look for problems.
This is one that I hasn't been seen on a Tango yet.
No voltage on #2 sounds like wiring rather than the sensor itself. I have seen some issues with other sensors where the plug pins were damaged or pushed back into the plug to the point of no contact where it plugs into the ECU. I'd check that before unwrapping that whole harness.
looks like it might get power from the throttle pos sensor (blue wire) or the speed sensor.
blue, blue/black and pink are the wire colors, from the other sensor it looks like the pink wire sends the signal to the ecu.
I know it is wiring since the problem follows the plug and not the sensor...I did check the ECU for bent pins and did not see any..
Maybe I will have more time next week to get deeper into it. Too much going on this week, grandkids over the weekend...I guess I need to schedule some "gyro time" for troubleshooting. Oh joy!

Ok after some trouble shooting with wire schematics and a volt meter, I was able to determine that the problem was at the factory wire splice location, seems that this is not an isolated incident, after searching some of the yamaha sled forums, seems that these splices are subject to corrosion. Many people just cut them off and solder the wires together. I did have some green stuff growing inside the splices, I sprayed them liberally with a good quality contact cleaner until I had voltage at each wire. Problem solved.
Code 13 and 25 are the air pressure sensors. So just another thing to note hopefully it may help someone else out.

The very next Yamaha motor I install is going to have a CUSTOM JON harness. That was what I did with the Subaru on the Bulldozer, and thus had zero wiring issues. It is convenient to start with a sled harness, but there are far too many circuits flying with me now that I will never need.
I cut the splices off, stripped the wires, twisted them tightly and soldered and shrink wrapped at each of the 4 splices.
