Please mark Saturday July 13th on your calendars for the annual Peach State “NOT-4th-of-July” covered-dish Cookout. Last year, we had lots of good food… gyro flying… a LOT of gyro talk, and a whole bunch of fun! This year is sure to be similarly great as well so please plan to attend.
Food will be covered-dish, but if you can’t bring anything, no worries... Bring yourself. We’d like to see you more than the food. There will be plenty.
Location: Cedartown Airport – 4A4 (Polk County – Cornelius MooreField) at the ‘Big Hangar.’
Time: 10:00am
More details here: http://peachstaterotorcraft.org/event/not-4th-july-cookout
What to bring: Below is a general list of items that people have brought previous years, but is just a guide. Some folks bring awesome covered-dishes that are not on the list, so please bring those for sure!
Peach State Members – Please chime in to let me know: 1) if you can make it and 2) if there is something you would like to bring. Chiming in here is better because you can see, moment to moment, what foods are spoken-for.
…very much need your RSVP.
See you there!

I plan to be there and will bring a box of burgers.
You folks coming to the cook out or not ??????
I plan to come and will bring the above listed hot dogs and buns .
I'll bring a bunch of chicken wings.
I can bring the dogs and buns.
Terry and Virginia E. will be buying and pre-cooking all the burgers and hot dogs and we will be paying them back for these from ‘donation’ funds. So, we are set on meats, and this will make it a lot easier (and faster) for all.
Soooo if you prefer to just bring cash instead of food, simply be prepared to put some (maybe a little 'extra') cash into the Donation jar to help defray those costs.
However, we still need other kinds of dishes. The list of food and who is bringing it is updated above.
Wayne H., Dewey Y., and 4 other folks will be coming down from TENNESSEE (weather permitting) in one Magni (flying), one Tango Gyro (flying), one fixed-wing, and one trailered Bensen!
I have heard from about 15 people so far... that means at least 30. I expect over 50 if the weather is nice.

Unknown to me previously, a couple of the folks who may fly-in from Tennessee are Eric and Callie B. in their awesome Green Hornet Tango Gryo. (weather permitting)
Also if the weather allows, we may see none other than Rusty N. from North Carolina flying in in one of his aircraft.
Please keep chiming in of you have a food you want to bring.
