My Baby's getting loaded up!

Your new baby

Just like a proud father, looks just like you. Can’t wait to see it.

Dang!

What did you do? did you buy a boneyard T-33?

Ultracruiser41
Nope

BAC Jet Provost mk-5.  Not boneyard....just freshly removed from the shipping crate from the UK.

About 40-50 hours of assembly.....upgraded brake system....then test flights.

Should be here in about a week or so.

’I love the smell of kerosene burning’ !!

Scott Essex
Cool!

Does it come with any rockets, guns or bombs?

So where are you going to go with a 400 mph cruise?

OK seriously, is it going to have to be registered as experimental?

Ultracruiser41
Already registered

Experimental Exhibition

Not a project....just needs assembled after transport.....should have her flying in a week or so.  We are going to upgrade the brakes first.

Ultracruiser41
At 420 mph......

......I can go back and forth to the beach 3 times in an hour!

To Ohio where I used to live in 1 hour.

" See honey....I told you it was practical getting a jet".

Gulp!!!!!!!

At 420 mph

Sounds perfectly logical to me. Finally, someone using good common sense. I used that same logic on the last two go fast ( not a jet ) planes I built. Although my wife still laughs when ever the subject comes up, what do you suppose that means?

I am sure you have found plenty of info, but I am going to share this.
