Bensen Days 2021 Event Poster

Bensen Days Is Back, thanks to the administration group for the Bensen Days Event in Wauchula, Florida.  The ill-fated 47th annual event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic for 2020.  As of this writing, it is on for 2021 with dates set for April 7, 2021 - April 10.  More information is available on the Bensen Days Event website here: https://www.bensendays.us.com.

Carolina Barnstormers Spring Fling 2020

Be A Chick Magnet

Date:

Thursday, May 14, 2020 - 8:00am to Sunday, May 17, 2020 - 6:00pm

Barry says going to the Carolina Barnstormer's Spring Fling 2020 will make you a "Chick Magnet."  It is the semi-annual gathering of gyroplane folk (and some other aviators) in the Southeast at Wadesboro, NC Anson County Airport (KAPF).  Rain or Shine, the event is always well-attended and worth a trip from anywhere.  Besides, we all know what a dull place "anywhere" can be in the Spring.

Bensen Days Update

Bensen Days 2019 Event Banner

There have been many rumors and concerns regarding the future of the Bensen Days Rotorcraft Event since the demise of its traditional host, Sunstate Wing & Rotor Club.  Fortunately, George "Jake" Jacob has managed to enlist the support of enough people to put an organization together and run the event.  These people include primarily, Scott Lewis, Connie and Ernie Boyette, David Sease and Jon Carleton.  This group's current goal is to manage and run Bensen Days 2019.  Following the event, the rebirth of a Florida rotorcraft club may be a secondary consideration.
